Wondrous Wax

This week I wanted to share one of my favorite things about Scentsy.

Not many people know much about the wax that is used to make Scentsy Bars and Bricks. So I want to share some really neat information with you! The owners of Scentsy (Orville and Heidi Thompson) researched and researched to find the best wax consistency for our Scentsy Bars. It is a food-grade, petroleum-based soft wax- so if your pet or child accidentally eats the wax, they are not in danger!

The wax was also formulated to hold the maximum amount of FRAGRANCE so in each little bar, there are many, many, many hours of fragrance locked inside ready to be released! Also the wax DOES NOT EVAPORATE. The fragrance simply fades eventually, and at that time you just wipe the wax up with a paper towel, and throw it away! So simple, so safe.

PLUS: the wax will never get hot enough to burn you, and neither will your warmer. You can touch the wax all you want, and you will not be harmed by the temperature. In fact, that is why so many mothers and pet-lovers have Scentsy... it is SAFE and has incredible, lasting fragrances.

Sunkissed Citrus

The name says it all with this happy summertime scent. As I type, I am enjoying Sunkissed Citrus in my Bamboo Tali warmer here on my desk. It is a "lively blend of oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit". - Scentsy Spring/Summer Catalog 2010 Being in the favorites collection, this is obviously a must-have... especially for these summer months!

Coconut Palm

All I can say is WOW. My husband came home from work and could smell coconut palm warming up the house... and he instantly started singing "if you like pina coladas....and getting caught in the rain.." One of my personal favorites. However you must practice some caution when enveloped in this scent... as you may find yourself on an exotic beach sipping coconut milk and feeling the ocean spray on your face. And you won't want it to stop.

Well, I got a little thrown off with the long weekend, and didn't post our Scent of the Week yesterday! So without further adieu I would like to present to you this week's delicious scent:

CHERRY LIMEADE

For those of you who know me, you know that I love a little place called Sonic. If you love drinking a refreshing Cherry Limeade on a hot summer day, you will love this scent! I sure enjoyed this fragrance over my 4th of July weekend!!
