This week we'll take a walk down memory lane with the Scent of the Week. The scent we have selected for this week shares a name with a beautiful place from my childhood.
Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin, it is one of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Here, great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert and created the world's largest gypsum dune field.
White Sands National Monument preserves a major portion of this unique dune field, along with the plants and animals that have successfully adapted to this constantly changing environment."
Perhaps the best thing about Scentsy is the wonderful memories and feelings that are brought to our minds when we smell and hear the scents and names of Scentsy. The White Sands scent is : "Night-blooming jasmine softened by coconut milk and rice, enveloped in the gentlest breeze."

I think this is my favorite warmer of the month thus far!! It is so beautiful!
This week I wanted to share one of my favorite things about Scentsy.
Not many people know much about the wax that is used to make Scentsy Bars and Bricks. So I want to share some really neat information with you! The owners of Scentsy (Orville and Heidi Thompson) researched and researched to find the best wax consistency for our Scentsy Bars. It is a food-grade, petroleum-based soft wax- so if your pet or child accidentally eats the wax, they are not in danger!
The wax was also formulated to hold the maximum amount of FRAGRANCE so in each little bar, there are many, many, many hours of fragrance locked inside ready to be released! Also the wax DOES NOT EVAPORATE. The fragrance simply fades eventually, and at that time you just wipe the wax up with a paper towel, and throw it away! So simple, so safe.

All I can say is WOW. Flirtatious is a hot pink color and it is divine. When my little brother-in-law who was at the ripe old age of 12, (and is now 13) first experienced Flirtatious... he was hooked. I was having a family Scentsy Party, and most attending were new to the Scentsy world, and loving it! Especially him. He initially miss-read the label and thought it was FLIRTALICIOUS... so now we all lovingly refer to this incredible scent as "Flirtalicious"- Flirty and Delicious! And it really is.
My Scentsy Launch Party could not have been better. It was a perfect way to kick off my new business. Since there are not many people near me that know about Scentsy it was so FUN to share it with these ladies. They all absolutely loved the scents and warmers, and I loved delivering their orders to them. With an incredible hostess (thank you Karen!) and fabulous guests, we had a lot of fun.
